2018 sees the opening of a new purpose-built breeding centre. Kinnerton Stud, near Chester, provides extensive, well managed grazing in secure paddocks; large tailor made stables; a fully equipped laboratory; stocks for safe examination of mares; CCTV monitoring & a phantom mare for stallion semen collection.

Clients are encouraged to bring their mares to the clinic during the period of regular ultrasound examination & insemination.  This enables close monitoring of the mare’s cycle & adaption of management as required.

The well maintained grazing provides economical grass livery. A number of paddocks enables appropriate grouping of mare’s.  It is important that the mares are happy & relaxed during their stay.  Stabled or part-stabled livery is available if required.
